In order to reduce possible fraud risk related to payment card transactions, from July 15, 2005, Citadele bank restricts cash withdrawal with payment cards from automatic teller machines and POS terminals of banks, setting the following maximum amount that can be withdrawn with one payment card within one calendar month:

• With Maestro, Visa Electron, Cirrus debit card  -  up to 10.000,- LVL (or an equivalent in another currency);
• With Visa Classic, MC Mass, Visa Business, MC Business, Visa Gold, MC Gold and bank Citadele American Express^® Gold Credit Card – up to 10.000,- LVL (or an equivalent in another currency);
• With Visa Platinum and Citadele bank American Express^® Platinum Credit Card – up to 20.000,- LVL (or an equivalent in another currency).

In case a set limit for cash withdrawals with payment cards from automatic teller machines and POS terminals of banks is already being applied to your payment card transactions, and it envisages withdrawal of a lower limit within one calendar month, then the former terms and conditions will be valid also after July 15, 2005, i.e. the cash withdrawal limit for your payment card from automatic teller machines and POS terminals of banks will not be increased.

In case there are any other additional conditions applied to your payment card, e.g., restrictions related to maximum number of purchases within a certain time period or the amount of money to be spent on purchases, then the former terms and conditions will be valid, and the cash withdrawal restrictions will take effect as an additional condition beginning from July 15, 2005.

In separate cases the Bank may consider the possibility to apply an increased cash withdrawal limit upon a receipt of a free form application, where a specific reason for such need is identified. In case of a refusal, the Bank is entitled not to comment the reasons for such refusal.
