Citadele online banking is a system that allows you to manage your bank Citadele accounts 24 hours a day from wherever you are in the world. With Citadele online banking you can:

• check balance summaries
• see account activity
• transfer funds in Latvia and internationally
• perform currency conversions
• examine the payment history
• receive a summary for any period
• send a message or question to customer service and more

Free

There are no fees to use Citadele online banking, neither for connection nor for maintenance. In case you have chosen Digipass authorization device, its issue’ll cost you EUR 50.

Going online is simple

To work with Citadele online banking, you need to have an account with the bank, sign a respective agreement and obtain an authorization method. You are free to select your own login name. After the bank signs the agreement, you will receive a primary password issued in a sealed envelope.

Secure

The use of the Citadele online banking is as safe as traditional banking. To avoid any unauthorized access to the data by third parties, the multistage safety system is installed, which includes a specially developed mechanism for user authorization, possibility to limit user rights and a special Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), as well as other built-in protection. Easy to access

To bank on-line at bank Citadele, you will need:

• PC with operating system WinNT, Win 3.5/95 or more recent;
• Internet connection — minimum 56 Kb/s;
• Browser, supporting HTML 3.0, CSS, 128 Bit SSL Protocol, Java Script and Unicode UTF-8 character set, for example, Netscape 4.7x, 7.1 or Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 and their more recent versions.

Comfortably flexible

Despite its ease of use, Citadele online banking isn’t primitive. It is possible for one user to manage the accounts of several clients. In that case, an agreement with each client should be signed. If several users wish to manage a single account separate agreements will be made for the number of users wishing to connect. There are two modes available for working on-line:
“Full mode” enables the user to view the account balance, print account summaries and send payment orders — i.e. it gives the user full access to accounts.
“View mode” enables the user to view and print the account balance. Please read more about this customization in the security section.
