Citadele Eastern European Fixed Income Funds

The investment objective of the open-ended investment fund Citadele Eastern European Fixed Income Funds, registered in Latvia, is to achieve long-term capital growth by investing primarily in debt securities issued or guaranteed by governments, municipalities, central banks and credit institutions of Eastern European countries, as well as in the debt and capital securities issued by commercial enterprises.

The investment portfolios of the sub-funds are diversified among investments in debt securities and money market instruments (the sub-fund Eastern European Balanced Fund also has investments in equities), as well as in different currencies and countries to ensure greater investment security and protection against the Fund’s asset value fluctuations associated with investments in securities of a single currency or country.

The fund includes 2 sub-funds with two different base currencies:
Citadele Eastern European Balanced Fund with base currency EUR
Citadele Eastern European Bond Fund with base currency USD

The following advantages of Citadele Eastern European Fixed Income Funds can be mentioned:

  • Investors can choose the most appropriate exposure in the Eastern European region, by choosing the sub-fund with or without equity allocation
  • The funds are managed by the team of highly professional fund managers and supported by a team of securities markets’ analysts, who apply systematic and fundamental analysis to select the best instruments and make the appropriate trading decision
  • The funds have the diversification that can only be achieved in large individual investment portfolios
  • Similar sub-funds are denominated in two most popular investment currencies – EUR and USD, which allows investors to reduce their currency risks
